The end.

Here's the deal... When I started this blog it was a lot of fun to write about our life and share pictures of the kids. But then I had three kids. And now I have four. Writing this blog has become a chore. It stresses me out when it's not "caught up" and it's no longer fun. I decided a few months ago that I'd finish up the year, but then I'm done. This is the end. I may or may not get on here occasionally and do a quick update, though chances are I won't.

So here's my last post with all the random things we've done during the month of December. Adiós 2016 and adiós blog.

The day I had Reagan was our ward Christmas party. It was Polar Express themed and the kids wanted to go really bad so Chad and my mom took them. Here are my cute kids (with friends) taking a ride on the Polar Express.

Visiting with Santa. Due to just having had a baby, we didn't take the kids to see Santa this year so it's a really good thing he made an appearance at the ward party or I don't think we would have seen him at all. Cayden asked me at one point if we were going to go visit Santa and I told him that he had already visited him at the ward party. He thought about it for a minute and said, "But mom, I think he had the voice of someone in our ward." Haha! I told him that maybe he did, but Santa has to have a lot of helpers to get everything done. That seemed to satisfy him, but it makes me wonder how much longer he'll believe.

The kids got to make fun lanterns at the party.

Listening to the Polar Express while eating cookies and drinking hot chocolate. Cayden apparently ate his body weight in cookies and hot chocolate; good thing mom wasn't there to stop him.

A few days before Christmas we took the kids to see the little nativity at the Denver Temple. The kids enjoyed seeing it and the temple, even if it was just a short visit.

The girls decided to ride the donkey...

Showing off their headlamps from Grandma and Grandpa Higgins.

Traditional Christmas Eve pajama picture. Love all these hooligans!

My adorable little Santa baby. :)

I think it's safe to say that Santa did a fantastic job with presents this year. (Even after just having a baby and everything...)

Mom rocked that arena this year too. (Also, I know that Grace looks a little less than excited in both of these pictures, but trust me... she was dang excited and couldn't get the toys opened up fast enough.)

Chad and Cayden got to see Rogue One - lucky ducks. I'll have to wait to see it when I can rent it. Hopefully it won't have been completely ruined for me by then.

Chad and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! We took the kids to dinner. While a date would have been preferable, it wasn't exactly feasible with a newborn and we still had lots of fun celebrating with the kids.

Gracie eating a lemon. Hahahahahahaha!

Laura having a go at the lemon. Again... bwahahahahahaha! Is it bad that I watch this over and over just to laugh at it?

To top off our anniversary Chad surprised me with these little beauties that I've had my eye on for a few years! I was more than a little surprised and am having a hard time not wearing them every day.
