Crazy Sleeper

Cayden has always moved around a lot in his sleep; we frequently find him with arms hanging out of the crib or jammed up in the corner of the crib with his face plastered against the bars. However, last night was probably the funniest position I have ever seen him in! It was so hard not to laugh and wake him up while we were in his room. He wasn't in this position when we got him up this morning so how he pulled his legs back in without waking himself up I'll never know. Silly, silly boy. :)

My Hobo Baby

Cayden was outside in his walker today while Chad was working on the car (don't even get me started on that one... that's a post for another time). It was a little chilly, but Cayden loves being outside and loves his daddy and didn't seem to mind the cold - especially with a jacket and hat. I brought him in after about 20 minutes and while feeding him lunch discovered this...

His little toe was sticking out just like that! Apparently my baby is working on becoming a hobo. :) The hole wasn't there when I put his socks on this morning. How did it get there? We're still working on that one.

Valentine's Day

Chad and I kept Valentine's Day pretty simple this year and just enjoyed spending time with each other. We managed to escape without the baby! ...I don't know how long it has been since we went on a date without Cayden. (Thanks Eric!)

We went to dinner here...

...then played around here...

...and then enjoyed some of these!

I think we're definitely going to have to have a repeat soon. Cafe Rio pork salad with black beans + chocolate covered strawberries + my hot husband = amazingness! Love you dear!

I Love You!

Oh how I love this boy! He is perfect for me and I think every day how lucky I am to be married to him and have him forever!

Thanks Grandma!

Cayden got a package in the mail today and thought it was the greatest thing. (Thanks Grandma!) I was also able to capture his "cheese" smile that he has been doing the past little while. Silly boy. That smile is all I can get him to do right now.

Excited about his package!

Enjoying the contents of the package. (I may or may not be just a little bit more excited about the book than Cayden.)

Oh, and here is a funny video I took of Cayden a few weeks ago. He is slurping spaghetti noodles. I especially love the burp at the beginning! ;)
