Anniversary #1

For our 1st anniversary Chad and I went to the Melting Pot - the same place where we got engaged! Well, we actually didn't get engaged in the one in Salt Lake, but it was the same restaurant. The food was delicious! I could have just eaten the dessert... flaming chocolate turtle! YUM! It was a great evening and we really enjoyed spending time with each other.

The beef marinated in teriyaki was the best! I thought that the black and yellow striped ravioli looked like angel fish. That made it somewhat weird to eat... :/

Oh my goodness! You cannot even begin to imagine how yummy this was! The sauce we dipped it in was caramel and milk chocolate with pecans. Amazing!

Home for Christmas!

We were lucky and got to go back home to Colorado for Christmas. Hopefully someday we will be able to move back. It was so much fun to see the family! I particularly enjoyed being a bum and talking to my mom. Anyway, while we were there we went sledding with the kids; it was SOOOO cold and windy, but fun.

This video is of Connor and Colleen. I thought Colleen was going to go all the way to the street!

This is Chad. He looked like the Abominable Snowman when he got done. Lol! :)

And this is me... I tried to go down standing up and it didn't quite work. Hmm.

Trying this out...

I'm not really sure how his works since I've never done this before. We'll see, maybe I'll like it... Chad and I are back to the daily grind; school, work, sleep. School, work, sleep. Homework is tossed in there whenever we can get it done. I think I actually see my classmates more than Chad. :) That's what you get when you are both in school and working. Thankfully, this will be my last semester of classes, followed by a year long internship (fingers crossed!) teaching my own class!!! After this semester Chad will have 2 years left, so it looks like we'll be in Utah for a little while.

This is actually my class that I taught this past November. I can't wait to be teaching my own class!
