Our Little Family

I substituted in primary yesterday for CTR 5 & 6. We talked about the first Easter and the Resurrection and how because of Jesus we can live with our families forever. I had the kids draw a pictures of their families and this was Chad's drawing of our family. I thought it was really cute! I particularly liked his picture of Weechee; it does a good job of showing how crazy she is. A lot of the crayon was done lightly and so you cannot see it very well. Dang.
Speaking of our crazy cat, yesterday morning she managed to get her lower jaw stuck underneath her collar! What was particularly funny was that we did not notice anything was wrong except for the fact that she looked like she had a very fat face and her chin was plastered to her neck. Poor thing!

Happy Easter!

Yesterday for Easter Chad and I went up to his parent's house. We had an amazing dinner - honey ham, funeral potatoes, asparagus, and fruit salad with homemade cinnamon rolls for dessert (compliments of myself) - and then had fun dying eggs and eating Easter candy! I forgot how much fun it is to dye eggs and my fingers are still colored from the dye. :)
Our amazing artwork! Sadly, it was my father-in-law who made
the egg with the cute daisies on it. Darn.

My favorite eggs!

Dyeing Easter eggs...so much fun!

The Temple

Last night Chad and I were blessed to be able to attend the temple. It has been a few months since we have been there and I was again reminded of what a comforting and peaceful spirit is present at the temple. I hope we can go to the temple more often; maybe next time we will do sealings!

Our Crazy Kitty

So our cat, Weechee, definitely likes q-tips. Why... I am not sure.
Anyway, today Chad was cleaning the bathroom and Weechee found the jar with the q-tips inside. She spent several minutes trying to figure out how to get the lid off, but finally realized she could just tip it over. This was the result...
