This weekend Chad had a job training down in St. George and I got to go along as well. The best part was that Chad had to work and I didn't! I got to hang around a huge house and be a bum. Ok, so I did do some work and homework, but still, it was nice to get away and relax.
The house was pretty awesome! It had something like 6 bathrooms and 13 bedrooms - I like to think of it as a mini mansion. There was an indoor swimming pool that felt like a hot tub; it was a little too hot for my liking but it was fun to be able to swim whenever you wanted. I have decided that when I am rich and famous I am going to have an indoor swimming pool. :)
It wasn't very sunny outside the whole weekend, but it was still gorgeous! St. George is very pretty - I really liked the deep red colored dirt and the palm trees everywhere. It was nice to get the awesome aspects of California (warm weather and palm trees) without the crazy people and crowdedness.
We enjoyed getting out of Provo and putting our classes and busy life on hold. Unfortunately, it is back to the daily grind tomorrow. We just might have to take another spontaneous and random trip in the near future.

So Many Blessings
Let me preface this by saying that I have been debating for months whether or not doing an internship was what would be best for our family. After I finally made up my mind that I was going to do an internship, I got the feeling that I should not in fact do an internship. Weird, I know. I was a little confused and felt like I was in limbo.
After much praying I think my life may be falling back into place. There have always been a few classes that I have wanted to take but have not gotten the chance to. This fall I will take some of those classes and work more to save money for the remainder of Chad's schooling. I will then start my student teaching approximately a year from now in January 2009.
I am glad that the Lord has a better perspective on my life than I have. :) It is nice to know that when I feel like my life is unpredictable, God knows exactly what is going on and has a plan.
